“Polish up your boots sunshine and let’s get serious” – A lot of Tottenham Hotspur fans are backing Erik Lamela to have a massive season for Spurs this year.
Lamela arrived in England six years ago – and, though, he initially struggled, he has developed into a quality player.
So far, in pre-season, the Argentine has impressed scoring two goals and turning in several solid performances.
Lamela has a superb record for Tottenham in pre-season – but he has never transferred this into league form.
He could replace Christian Eriksen who has expressed his desire to leave – and a lot of Tottenham fans want him gone.
They are, however, pleased to see Lamela performing well – and many are expecting big things from the 27-year-old.

These Spurs fans think that if he can stay fit, then he will be an important player for them this year. He has had many injury problems in the past – so these Tottenham fans are hoping that the Argentine can go a season without an injury.

Other Tottenham fans believe that this is the year he finally shows his best form. Lamela has talent, but injuries and other factors have meant he has not had the chance to show it.
