Tottenham Player Ratings: Manchester City (H)

Tottenham silenced their doubters last night with a massive win and clean sheet in their first leg clash against Manchester City. Both Hugo Lloris’ penalty save and Heung-Min Son’s late goal saw Spurs take the advantage into the away leg in Manchester next week. Their match at the Etihad will by no means be easy but Spur have given themselves a great chance to progress into their first Champions League semi-final.

The match was filled with VAR controversy as well as a nasty looking injury to Harry Kane. Spurs fans will know well that Kane has been plagued by an ankle injury this season and looks as though he could miss the rest of the season. However, just as he had done previously in the season, Heung-Min Son stepped up to the plate for his team and fired Spurs 1-0 up with a low drive underneath Ederson.
