Spurs are coming into this game after a three week break from club football and have two Premier League games in the next five days. Spurs themselves will also want to make use of their rest from Premier League football and try to get a result against the Merseysiders.
The last meeting between these two teams at Anfield was a Premier League classic with two goals in added time. Both Mo Salah and Harry Kane showed their quality in that game and could be poised to do so again on Sunday.
