Tottenham eased into the last eight of the FA Cup as they beat League One Rochdale 6-1 at Wembley Stadium this evening.
It was a very controversial first half with VAR at the forefront of this as it disallowed two Spurs goals including a penalty from Son after he staged his run-up.
The night included a hat-trick for summer signing Fernando Llorente, a brace for Son and a first Spurs goal for Kyle Walker-Peters late on.
The North London club go onto face Swansea City at the Liberty Stadium in the quarter-finals in two weeks time.
In truth it was a game Spurs could have done without but they performed well particularly in the second-half when they netted five of the goals.
First team regulars Moussa Dembele and Dele Alli were both brought on late on to seal the job through.

Couldn’t have done too much with the goal, but other than that was composed and calm when needed.
Kieran Trippier -7
Performed well on the night bombing down the right flank on a number of occasions and looked at a high level throughout.
Looked very uncomfortable at centre back and was tested on a number of occasions by Rochdale
Continues to look out of place at center back and struggled to cope at times in the game.
A quiet night from the Spurs youngster as he didn’t quite look at his fluid best as he was withdrawn at the break.
Like some of the other players looked really out of sorts and struggled to look the part at this level with some wasteful passing.
Another superb performance from the South Korean as he netted two goals and claimed an assist whilst also having his penalty chalked off.
A super performance from the Argentine as he continues to build up his match fitness after injury.
Looked a class act this evening and used his pace well throughout and was a constant threat in the game
His best performance in a Spurs shirt as he scored his first hat-trick in English football in a brilliant all round performance.
Moussa Dembele- 8 Controlled the midfield when he came on and helped to see his side ease through to the next round.
Dele Alli-7 Had a quiet time of things when introduced but did show a couple of moments of brilliance in the last few moments.
Kyle Walker-Peters- 7 Wasn’t on for too long but managed to grab himself a goal in a calm cameo from the youngster.
