Tottenham vs West Brom – Preview
After an FA Cup weekend, the Premier League is back. In comes game-week 21 and Spurs are up against mid-table side West Brom. Now, when you usually hear the name ‘West Brom’, you think of a tough home fixture where your team will have to break down the Baggies defence and will only break out for a win if you haven’t scored with 10 minutes to go, but well, not this season. West Brom are enjoying a brilliant season under manager Tony Pulis and comfortably sit 8th in the table, 1 point off Everton, in 7th.
Form
Spurs are currently in hot form and hope that the break away from the Premier League hasn’t dampened this. Also with the game being at home, Pochettino and his men look to continue there fine form at home. Overall, Tottenham are yet to lose at home this season, winning 10 and drawing two. They are also currently on a 5 win streak.
Dele Alli has also been on fire for Spurs in recent games…

Previous 5 vs West Brom
The three most recent fixtures out of the five have all seen draws against the Baggies, most recently a 1-1 draw away from home. Before that came a 3-0 win where Christian Eriksen opened the scoring before Harry Kane bagged a brace. The last of the fixtures came in September 2014 where Spurs suffered a 1-0 loss due to a goal from James Morrison.
Team News
Harry Kane becomes available for selection again after his weekend off due to the birth of his first child. Erik Lamela still remains sidelined with a continued hip problem.
West Brom have defender Jonny Evans absent with a calf injury. Chris Brunt and Jonathan Leko are also doubtful for the fixture.
Prediction
With our current form and being undefeated at home, i’m going for a 2-0 win to Tottenham.
