Spurs take on Manchester United on Sunday at White Hart Lane, having not beat the red half of Manchester in North London since May 2001, when a Spurs side including the likes of Neil Sullivan, Anthony Gardner, Luke Young and Les Ferdinand beat United 3-1.
In fact, Tottenham’s recent record against United at White Hart Lane is respectable, with United having only won three times since the start of the 2008-09 season against Spurs.
Furthermore, there are signs that times are changing in a fixture that was once considered an easy win for Manchester United. Since the start of the 2012-2013 season, both teams have won this fixture twice with the other five matches resulting in draws.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side head into Sunday’s game as favourites against a lacklustre United side, who are struggling to qualify for the Champions League next season, whilst Spurs will retain hope of keeping their title dream alive, despite now being seven points behind Leicester with six games to play.
