The end of the January transfer window saw three more players leave Spurs today. One of the players to leave was Alex Pritchard, who secured a loan move to West Bromwich Albion until the end of the season. After recently recovering from injury, it’s thought that Pochettino believes in the player and he will feature in his future plans. The loan to a Premier League team is seen to be the best option for the promising young player to return to fitness and form, while also adjusting to the pace and power of the top flight.
The second player to leave was Milos Veljkovic who agreed to join Werder Bremen on permanent deal. The 20-year-old had shown promise and some fans might have expected him to stay with the injury to Jan Vertonghen, but has been deemed surplus to requirements.
The final player to leave today was Federico Fazio who has left on loan to Sevilla until the end of the season. He returns to the team he came from in 2014 having never really settled the way he would have wished, and it is expected to make it a permanent arrangement in the summer.
