That was not the only time the two teams met at White Hart Lane last term, though, as they were paired together in the FA Cup 4th round. Andros Townsend gave Spurs the lead, but goals in the final seven minutes from Leandro Ulloa and Jeffrey Schlupp caused a late shock.
26/12/2014 – Leicester 1-2 Spurs
In the return league match, Spurs would be victorious again. Ulloa’s goal after the stroke of half-time cancelled out Kane’s first minute strike, but Christian Eriksen won it with 19 minutes to go.
08/01/2006 – Leicester 3-2 Spurs
You have to go back a whooping ten seasons to find the next clash between the two – an FA Cup tie which Leicester won thanks to Mark de Vries’ last minute effort.
22/02/2014 – Spurs 4-4 Leicester
However, Spurs enjoyed some last minute-drama of their own in the last league meeting between the two before Leicester’s plight down the divisions. Jermain Defoe struck with one minute left to seal a dramatic draw in this thriller.
