QPR have completed the signing of Tottenham defender Grant Hall.
The 23-year-old had been on trial at Loftus Road, and R’s boss Chris Ramsey has been impressed enough by what he has seen to bring him to the club for an undisclosed fee.
Hall will be available for QPR’s season opener against Charlton on Saturday, and former Spurs coach Ramsey is looking forward to linking up with his former colleague once more.
“I’ve always liked Grant from when we worked at Spurs,” he told the Championship side’s official website.
“He’s an old-fashioned defender – he can head the ball, he can tackle and he doesnt mind putting his foot in when he needs to.”
Hall arrived at White Hart Lane from Brighton in 2013 but failed to make a single first-team appearance in the Premier League.
The centre-back went on loan at Swindon, Birmingham and most recently Blackpool in search of first-team football, but he now departs North London for good after agreeing a two-year deal at Loftus Road.
