Mauricio Pochettino has named the squad that will participate in this week’s two-day Audi Cup competition.
The Argentinian has taken 23 players to Munich ahead of games against Real Madrid on Tuesday night, and then either AC Milan or Bayern Munich on Wednesday evening.
Erik Lamela is included and could be set for his first appearance of pre-season after appearing for Argentina in the Copa America, whilst Harry Kane is also named following participation in the UEFA U21 European Championships.
Kevin Wimmer and Toby Alderweireld also make the squad following summer moves from 1. FC Koln and Atletico Madrid respectively, along with youngsters Luke McGee, Harry Winks and Joshua Onomah.
Curiously, Hugo Lloris has also travelled to Munich and is included in the official squad list on the club’s website, but he is not expected to play despite having returned to training.
Roberto Soldado has not gone with the squad and looks set to complete a move to Villareal this week.
Squad: Vorm, Lloris, McGee, Trippier, Walker, Rose, Davies, Dier, Fazio, Alderweireld, Wimmer, Vertonghen, Bentaleb, Mason, Winks, Alli, Dembele, Carroll, Onomah, Eriksen, Lamela, Chadli, Kane.
