Hall on trial at QPR

Hall on trial at QPR

Forgotten defender Grant Hall is on trial at Queens Park Rangers.

The 23-year-old is yet to make a first-team appearance since signing from Brighton in 2012 and could be set for a way out of White Hart Lane through the Championship new boys, who are managed by former Tottenham coach Chris Ramsey.

It is thought the trial is being taken with a view to a permanent move, despite loan spells at Birmingham City and Blackpool last season.

The centre-back was due to spend the entire campaign at St Andrews, but the deal was cut short in January after just seven appearances and Hall spent the remainder of the season at Blackpool.

He played 12 games for The Seasiders and scored the SkyBet Championships 1000th ever goal with his effort vs rivals Blackburn, but his influence was not enough to prevent the Lancashire club from getting relegated to League One.

Prior to that, Hall spent the 2013/14 season on loan at Swindon, where he made 27 apearances.
