Tottenham midfielder Nabil Bentaleb has pledged his future with the club, signing a new contract extension that will keep him at White Hart Lane until 2020.
The 20-year-old, who burst into the first team under former manager Tim Sherwood, has put pen to paper on a new five-year deal.
He told Spurs TV: ‘I’ve had some ups and downs, but most importantly I’ve learned a lot and I’ll continue to learn.’
Bentaleb went on to say that: ‘The club has given me the trust and I have to thank them for that and keep working hard. I will always push harder and I will always want more. ’
‘You have to fight all the time and you have to improve all the time, that’s what got me to where I am now.’
‘We have a tough pre-season and we will get the chance to play against big teams. It will be a good challenge and it will be a good experience to us.’
The defensive midfielder scored one goal in 35 appearances during the 2014/15 campaign, a season that followed Nabil helping Algeria to the knockout stages of the World Cup in Brazil last summer.
