At a glance:
- Vicario and Udogie ruled out
- Maddison fit enough for the bench
- Tottenham face Wolves on Saturday
As has been the case this season, Tottenham have a few injury concerns ahead of their Premier League clash against Wolves tomorrow.
The North London outfit are in desperate need of a win to climb out of the relegation zone, with West Ham United currently two points above them.
Roberto De Zerbi needs his players to step up and be counted at Molineux tomorrow.
But it appears as if he will have to do so without Guglielmo Vicario and Destiny Udogie.
Tottenham without Udogie and Vicario
While Vicario is recovering from a hernia operation, Udogie picked up an injury yesterday and was expected to be a doubt for this game.
Speaking at his pre-match press conference, the Italian confirmed that his compatriot will not be fit enough to feature against Wolves, although he could return for the game against Aston Villa.

“Destiny has a [muscular] problem,” said De Zerbi via Alasdair Gold.
“I think he can’t play tomorrow, but he played on Saturday and played a great first half, second half as well, but the first was great.
“We have Spence, and Souza is available to come with us. I have a big opinion of Destiny and he is a crucial player for us.
“We are lucky because we can play with Djed Spence, another important player and another very good guy.”
As for Vicario, De Zerbi feels the goalkeeper will need a bit more time to return, which he can afford as Antonin Kinsky has performed admirably over the past two games.
“He is not available for tomorrow,” continued De Zerbi when asked about Vicario.
“I hope he can start with me from Monday. Antonin is playing very well. I hope Vicario can come back in the best physical condition because he’s a very important player for us.”
Maddison and Kulusevki updates
James Maddison was on the bench against Brighton for the first time this season, but didn’t get any minutes.
And the Tottenham boss feels he is still not close to full match fitness, so he will likely be benched again.

“No, he’s not available [to play] yet.
“Especially this week, he felt pain, but not so important pain. Tomorrow he will come on the bench because he’s important, whether he plays or not.”
And finally, when asked if Dejan Kulusevski will play for Tottenham before the end of the season, the Italian provided a rather discouraging response.
“I am sorry for him because he is one of my perfect players.
“He is a very specific player for me like Kudus, like Romero, but I hope that he can play in the World Cup because the World Cup for a player is a moment. Is the best period of their career, but I don’t know the situation very well.”
