“You could have used that headline for the past 12-24 months” – A lot of Tottenham Hotspur fans are fuming at how long it has taken their club to seal a long-term Mauricio Pochettino target.
Ryan Sessegnon has had constant links to Spurs since he was 17 – and according to Sky Sports, this week should see him finally make the move to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Tottenham have, so far, only made one senior signing – and the addition of Sessegnon would boost their left-hand side.
The 19-year-old was pretty poor for Fulham last year, but it is thought that under the guidance of Pochettino, he could become an excellent player.
For now, though, these Tottenham fans are just annoyed at how long it has taken them in their pursuit of Sessegnon.
