Tottenham Hotspur avoided an embarrassing exit from the FA Cup as they salvaged a replay at League Two side Newport County with a late goal from Harry Kane.
Padraig Amond’s header had given the hosts the lead only for Spurs main man to level the score with just eight minutes left on the clock.
Spurs struggled to cope with the elements which were thrown at them despite having a near on full strength team out for the cup tie.
The sides must now replay in 10 days time at Wembley Stadium.
