Report: Tottenham Hotspur 4-0 Stoke City

A Harry Kane hat-trick and a Dele Alli strike helped Spurs to a comfortable 4-0 win against Mark Hughes’ Stoke City at White Hart Lane.

Harry Kane opened the scoring just 14 minutes into the first-half. The 23-year-old toke a well-taken shot into the bottom corner of the net, putting Spurs into the lead.

Stoke had a few chances as well in the opening half, with Peter Crouch nearly equalising for the Potters.

Spurs extended their lead in the 30th minute. Harry Kane, who was already on the scoresheet, put himself back on the sheet with a great volley into the bottom corner of the net.

Kane finally bagged his hat-trick in the 37th minute. The forward’s free-kick was deflected off Peter Crouch, leaving Stoke goalkeeper Lee Grant stranded.

Dele Alli put the game to bed just before the half-time whistle. The 20-year-old converted a Harry Kane cross to put Spurs 4-0 up.

This win meant that Tottenham move up to second in the Premier League table, 10 points behind current leaders Chelsea.
