# ‘Honest’ – Roberto De Zerbi provides crucial double Tottenham injury update

**It was another happy outing in the Premier League for Tottenham Hotspur as they downed Crystal Palace 2-0 at home.**

Archie Gray and Jan Paul van Hecke scored the goals for the home side as Roberto De Zerbi won three games in a row for the first time since joining the club.

The Lilywhites once again dominated the game and deservedly came out with all three points. After a slow start, it looks as if they are finally clicking into gear, especially as they recorded another clean sheet.

And speaking after the game, De Zerbi provided injury updates on Pedro Porro and Destiny Udogie, who both featured as second-half substitutes.

## Roberto De Zerbi’s Tottenham injury updates

Gray was substituted at half-time for Porro as he was on a yellow card, while Udogie got a few minutes under his belt after replacing Andy Robertson.

De Zerbi said Porro is fit and firing but informed him right before the game that he wouldn’t be able to play the full 90 minutes.

As for Udogie, the Italian claims Tottenham will try to build up his fitness as he continues to struggle with injuries.

“Pedro is ready; we didn’t take risks,” said De Zerbi via [Football London](https://www.football.london/tottenham-hotspur-fc/news/de-zerbi-tottenham-williams-barnett-34845635).

“When we spoke with him, he decided before the game; he was very honest with me.

“And I appreciate it a lot because the Premier League is 38 games, not one game. And with Udogie, hopefully we can work many weeks in a row. Until now, it was not possible.”

With key players returning from injuries and most of the big guns stepping up to the plate, things are looking good for De Zerbi and Tottenham. And long may it continue!
