# Tottenham fans will absolutely love what they’re hearing about Richarlison

**The summer transfer window proved to be an eventful one for Tottenham Hotspur and Richarlison.**

The Brazilian featured regularly in pre-season, but during the closing stages of the transfer window, a saga ensued that everyone could have avoided.

After rejecting a move to Everton, Richarlison was left out of Tottenham’s Premier League squad and hasn’t played a competitive game for the club since.

His departure remains a matter of time, but in the meantime, the experienced striker turned out for the U-21s yesterday.

## Richarlison features for Tottenham U-21s

Richarlison played the full 90 minutes for Tottenham U-21s in their EFL Trophy Southern Group A game vs Cheltenham.

The Lilywhites won on penalties, and understandably, the Brazilian took centre stage as he was the star attraction.

And after the game, Cheltenham manager Steve Cotterill heaped praise on him for his conduct throughout the game.

> "Richarlison's attitude was immaculate. He could have easily come down here and thought, I am not too bothered about tonight.\
> \
> He's used to playing in front of 60,000, but his attitude was first-class. \
> \
> It was great for our lads to play against someone of his stature."\

“He’s used to playing in front of 60,000, but his attitude was first-class. It was great for our lads to play against someone of his stature.”

Richy won’t play for the club again and his departure is likely to be unceremonious. But Tottenham fans will remember him for a long time for his important goals and always wearing his heart on his sleeve while representing the club.
