# ‘Important’ – Roberto De Zerbi drops big hint on Tottenham youngster

**Tottenham and Liverpool will lock horns at Anfield later today in the second round of the Carabao Cup.**

Roberto De Zerbi’s side have scored a Premier League goal this season but brushed Charlton Athletic aside 5-1 in the third round of the competition, with new signing Savio marking his debut with a goal and an assist.

The Italian is expected to make some big changes to his squad today as players on the fringes of the team prepare to feature.

And speaking ahead of the game, De Zerbi appeared to suggest Luca Williams-Barnett will feature, although he probably wouldn’t play the full 90 minutes.

## Luca Williams-Barnett to feature for Tottenham vs Liverpool

The youngster was one of Tottenham’s shining lights in pre-season as he proved that he more than belongs at the top.

However, he hasn’t featured in the Premier League this season but could be set to get his chance tomorrow.

“I don’t know (on) Luca (Williams-Barnett),” said De Zerbi in his pre-match press conference.

“We have to see. Many players need to play. Maybe not 90 minutes but 30 minutes. It is a real game is important.”

Williams-Barnett will likely get some minutes today and will look to make it count at Anfield against a strong Liverpool side.
