# ‘One to watch’ – Fabrizio Romano provides ‘crucial’ Tottenham transfer update

**Tottenham Hotspur have already signed six new players this summer, but the upcoming week could top what they’ve done.**

Roberto De Zerbi is on the lookout for multiple attackers to bolster his squad. Talks are ongoing to complete a double deal for Savinho and Omar Marmoush from Manchester City, with the Brazilian close to officially signing for the club.

The Lilywhites are expected to add another player regardless, which could take their summer spending to well over £400m.

Tottenham have been linked with a move for Nicolas Jackson, who is out of Chelsea’s project under Xabi Alonso.

And now, Fabrizio Romano has provided an update on the striker’s future.

## Tottenham target Nicolas Jackson tipped to leave

Chelsea only want to sell the Senegalese striker on a permanent transfer, who spent last season on loan at Bayern Munich.

“Crucial days ahead for Nicolas Jackson to leave Chelsea as clubs working on it behind the scenes,” wrote Romano on X.

“Aston Villa, keen since August 2025 and still there if Watkins joins Al Hilal; Atlético Madrid also interested and in active talks.

“Spurs and Napoli had called but CFC only consider permanent exit. One to watch until the end.”

Jackson is a useful attacker in his own right and could be a good signing at the right price. Tottenham, however, will focus on getting deals done for Marmoush and Savinho, after which they will move on to other targets.
