**Tottenham Hotspur remain in the market for attacking reinforcements, but Roberto De Zerbi is also working to trim his squad.**

A handful of young players have left the club on loan, while a few others could follow.

Djed Spence’s move to Inter Milan is expected to go through after the Englishman was spotted in Italy for his medical.

Tottenham released an official statement on their social media handles as they thanked the Argentine for his contributions over the years.

They wrote on X: “A warrior on the pitch, a key part of our Europa League triumph and captain for the 2025/26 campaign.

“Good luck for your next chapter, Cuti.”

And Romero, for his part, also released an emotional statement as he bid farewell to the Lilywhites faithful.

> Today, I say goodbye to a place that, for five seasons, was much more than a club. It was my home, my challenge and the place where my family and I built such an important part of our lives.\
