# Tottenham fans will love what Savinho has just done after 3-0 Hoffenheim win

**Tottenham Hotspur remain locked in talks to sign Savinho from Manchester City.**

The Lilywhites have pursued the player for well over a year now and could finally be set to land their man this summer.

Twelve months ago, Pep Guardiola didn’t sanction his sale and he remained at the Etihad Stadium.

And now, after asking to leave the club and Tottenham making a bid for him, a transfer still hasn’t been finalised, although there’s still time left for that to change.

And now, Savinho has left a comment on Xavi Simons’ picture that has led to a lot of chatter on social media.

## Tottenham target Savinho’s Instagram tease

Savinho and Simons played together at PSV Eindhoven and know each other quite well.

Since reports emerged that the Lilywhites want to sign the Brazilian, he has intentionally done a few things on social media that have got the fans talking.

Simons didn’t feature today but was at the stadium as Tottenham secured a 3-0 win against Hoffenheim. And the Dutchman took to Instagram to share pictures from the occasion, to which Savinho responded as he always does.

Now, we’re not saying social media activity means anything. But in today’s world, players know exactly what they’re doing and at the very least, Savinho is making his intentions known.

Let’s hope the transfer materialises before the start of the Premier League season.
