# Tottenham transfer news as monstrous €130m bid rejected for attacker

**Tottenham Hotspur’s search for an attacker has been frustrating, to say the least.**

Roberto De Zerbi’s side have been linked with a host of names, but nothing concrete has materialised so far.

Savinho and Cody Gakpo seem like Tottenham’s most active targets at this point, but they need to get a move on soon to have them for the season opener vs Brentford.

Earlier this summer, there were reports that [Victor Osimhen would be De Zerbi’s ‘bomba’ signing at Tottenham](https://readtottenham.com/2026/08/12/tottenham-dealt-massive-blow-in-race-for-complete-65m-striker/).

And now, the Lilywhites – and his other suitors – have just had a strong message from Galatasaray that he is not for sale at any price.

## Galatasaray reject €130m bid for Tottenham target Victor Osimhen

Florian Plettenberg has confirmed that Gala have turned down a verbal offer from Al-Hilal and have no intention of selling the Nigerian striker.

He wrote on X: “Galatasaray were offered €130m for Victor Osimhen yesterday via an intermediary acting for Al-Hilal.

“The offer was made verbally. Galatasaray are not willing to negotiate at this stage and have no intention of entering talks.”

Honestly, we weren’t sure if Tottenham would ever officially make an offer as the links seemed too good to be true.

But now, if Gala are turning down such a monstrous offer, it’s best to concede defeat and just move on to other attainable targets.
