# ‘Here we go soon’ – Fabrizio Romano delivers huge Tottenham transfer update

**Tottenham Hotspur have already made a few notable sales and loaned a few young players out in recent weeks.**

And it appears as if another departure could well be confirmed this week.

Earlier today, [we relayed claims on Read Tottenham that Inter have submitted an official offer for Djed Spence](https://readtottenham.com/2026/08/12/official-bid-fabrizio-romano-confirms-massive-e30m-tottenham-transfer-news/) after the player agreed personal terms with them.

And now, Fabrizio Romano has all but confirmed that Spence’s move to Italy will go through.

## Tottenham on the verge of Djed Spence sale

Spence’s reputation shot up after his displays at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which led to interest from a host of clubs including Liverpool and Manchester United.

However, Inter have agreed a deal to secure his signature from Tottenham, after earlier missing out on Cristian Romero to Atletico Madrid.

Romano wrote on [X](https://x.com/FabrizioRomano/status/2087518574734635153?s=20): “Understand Inter are closing in on Djed Spence deal! Agreement almost done, with final steps to follow.

“Spence has agreed personal terms with Inter and wants the move; Inter and Spurs are in contact to seal the deal over €30m.”

Romano also confirmed on his post that the ‘here we go’ is not far off, with the two clubs working behind the scenes to finalise an agreement.

Spence already has one foot out the door and will finally get his move after weeks of negotiations.
