# ‘Top’ – Roberto De Zerbi says Tottenham player can become one of the best in the world

**Tottenham Hotspur made it four wins from four in pre-season as they secured a morale-boosting 2-1 win against Chelsea to win the Sydney Super Cup.**

Goals from Sandro Tonali and Richarlison gave them the win, while Estevao Willian pulled one back for Xabi Alonso’s side.

Roberto De Zerbi rotated his squad and there were a lot of good performances.

However, Antonin Kinsky, in particular, was involved in a couple of key moments and came out on top again.

And the Italian singled out the young goalkeeper for special praise after yet another fine showing between the sticks.

## De Zerbi raves about Kinsky

Kinsky couldn’t do much to stop Estevao’s opener, but in the second half, he denied the Brazilian from point blank range after he was played through by Joao Pedro.

Since his blunder in Spain last season, he has silenced all his critics and made a massive impression, cementing his spot as Tottenham’s number one goalkeeper.

De Zerbi believes the Czech international can become one of the best players in the world in his position, although he mentioned areas where he can improve.

> Antonin Kinsky was absolutely sensational today. 👏🧤\

“I think he can improve in build-up a lot. A lot. But he will reach, for sure, the top,” said the Italian via [Football London](https://www.football.london/tottenham-hotspur-fc/fixtures-results/tottenham-press-conference-live-roberto-34389122).

“Working with the goalkeeper coach and me, we will create the training just for him to better understand the free player, to understand better everything he needs.

“He is very clear with the pass, but he can become faster in the decision in build-up. He has all the qualities to become one of the best, also in the build-up, the distribution.”

The young goalkeeper is finally getting his flowers and it’s nothing more than what he deserves after that horrible UEFA Champions League night in Spain.
