# “Lucky to get a point” – These Spurs fans aren’t impressed with NLD performance

“Lucky to get a point” – A lot of Tottenham Hotspur fans are fuming that their club threw away a [two-goal lead](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/49463331) in the North London derby.

Spurs were [2-0 up](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/49463331) against Arsenal at the Emirates thanks to Christian Eriksen’s [50th Premier League goal](https://www.goal.com/en/news/eriksen-scores-50th-premier-league-goal-as-tottenham-exit/1iqw6e5y46ghh1sik3jf5wpadd) and [Harry Kane’s 10th](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/49463331) North London derby strike.

However, they could not see the game out, and once[Alexandre Lacazette](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/49463331) had halved the deficit the momentum swung towards the Gunners.

In the second half Arsenal were a [different beast](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/49463331) and they equalised through [Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/49463331) and then put Tottenham under pressure, but they could not [find the winner](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/49463331).

Spurs were in a [very comfortable position](https://www.theguardian.com/football/2019/sep/01/arsenal-tottenham-hotspur-premier-league-match-report) – then they let Arsenal back into the game and, in the end, [were lucky](https://www.theguardian.com/football/2019/sep/01/arsenal-tottenham-hotspur-premier-league-match-report) to come away with a point.

Certainly, these Spurs fans are done with their team blowing games.

See the best of the reaction below.

> FULL-TIME: End-to-end stuff at the Emirates and it finishes all square in the derby.

> 2-0 up lads, we have to learn how to manage a game and stop conceding these stupid goals between our central defenders and left back.

Other Spurs fans blame Mauricio Pochettino for this, and they now want him gone.
