# “Don’t think any debut will ever beat Danny Rose” – Spurs fans discuss the best debut goals

“Don’t think any debut will ever beat Danny Rose” – A lot of Tottenham Hotspur fans believe that Danny Rose’s goal against Arsenal is the best debut goal the club has ever scored.

After Tanguy Ndombele [marked his debut](https://twitter.com/SpursOfficial/status/1160989326517440514) with a goal – the Spurs’ media team[released a video](https://twitter.com/SpursOfficial/status/1160989326517440514) of other great Tottenham debuts.

The video includes [Mido](https://twitter.com/SpursOfficial/status/1160989326517440514), [Jermain Defoe](https://twitter.com/SpursOfficial/status/1160989326517440514), [Eric Dier](https://twitter.com/SpursOfficial/status/1160989326517440514), and [Moussa Dembele](https://twitter.com/SpursOfficial/status/1160989326517440514) – but the clear winner for a lot of Spurs fans was Rose’s [30-yard volley](https://twitter.com/SpursOfficial/status/1160989326517440514) at White Hart Lane against their North London rivals.

The video has some [stunning Tottenham moments](https://twitter.com/SpursOfficial/status/1160989326517440514) – but the standout has to be Rose’s [spectacular volley](https://twitter.com/SpursOfficial/status/1160989326517440514), what a way to introduce yourself to the Spurs supporters.

Many Spurs fans believe Rose’s is the best by miles.

A lot of Tottenham fans believe Rose’s debut was the best – and that nothing even comes close to the England international’s goal.

> Sorry but Rose wins with Dier in second

> In terms of quality, Rose tops the list. In terms of how much I celebrated it, Dier for sure.

Other Spurs fans think that Eric Dier’s late winner at [West Ham](https://twitter.com/SpursOfficial/status/1160989326517440514), in Mauricio Pochettino’s [first game](https://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/competitions/premier-league/11038807/West-Ham-United-0-Tottenham-Hotspur-1-Eric-Dier-scores-last-gasp-winner-on-dream-debut.html) as manager, is a close second.

> Got to be Danny "on his premier league debut!" Rose with Tanguy a close second and Dier 3rd for me.

Finally, a few Tottenham fans believe that Ndombele’s strike is the second-best debut goal – but that could be because it is the most recent.
