# These Spurs fans were delighted to keep Danny Rose at the club

“Good. He can’t leave” – A lot of Tottenham Hotspur fans are thrilled that Danny Rose will remain at the club – after his transfer [deadline day move](https://www.skysports.com/transfer/news/11675/11780267/danny-rose-tottenham-reject-watfords-bid-for-england-left-back) to Watford collapsed.

Rose arrived at [Watford’s training ground](https://twitter.com/Daily_Hotspur/status/1159476375193083909) to undertake a medical and discuss personal terms – but the Hornets had [their bid rejected](https://www.skysports.com/transfer/news/11675/11780267/danny-rose-tottenham-reject-watfords-bid-for-england-left-back).

The 29-year-old had spoken of moving away from Tottenham as he was not part of their [long-term plans](https://www.skysports.com/transfer/news/11675/11780267/danny-rose-tottenham-reject-watfords-bid-for-england-left-back) – and though he was linked with [numerous clubs](https://www.90min.com/posts/6413389-danny-rose-the-contenders-to-sign-him-where-he-might-end-up) a move never materialised, and he will remain with Spurs.

This has delighted a lot of Spurs fans who did not want to lose Rose.

Many Spurs fans were thrilled to see Rose’s move collapse – and found it very funny how little time Rose spent in Watford’s training ground.

Other fans were much more serious and are just delighted that Rose will be with them for now.
