# These Spurs fans seem gutted as Paulo Dybala’s move falls through

“Such a moronic move” – A lot of Tottenham Hotspur fans are fuming that their club have failed to sign Paulo Dybala.

News emerged last night that Spurs had [agreed on a fee](https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11675/11779011/paulo-dybala-tottenham-agree-64-4m-fee-for-juventus-forward) – and the player was[keen to join](https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11675/11779011/paulo-dybala-tottenham-agree-64-4m-fee-for-juventus-forward), but the move [fell through](https://fifa-livescores.com/news/114887/ALL/Tottenham%27s-move-for-Paulo-Dybala-has-collapsed-because-of-image-rights-issues) earlier today.

The reason for this is believed to be because of the [player’s image rights](https://fifa-livescores.com/news/114887/ALL/Tottenham%27s-move-for-Paulo-Dybala-has-collapsed-because-of-image-rights-issues) – Juventus also had concerns about sorting out a [replacement](https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11675/11780005/tottenham-no-longer-after-juventus-paulo-dybala), so they [pulled the plug](https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11675/11780005/tottenham-no-longer-after-juventus-paulo-dybala) on the deal.

There was hope a [loan deal](https://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/transfers/tottenham-transfer-news-paulo-dybala-deal-why-image-rights-issue-difficult-loan-a9047026.html) could be pushed through, but [that also failed](https://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/transfers/tottenham-transfer-news-paulo-dybala-deal-why-image-rights-issue-difficult-loan-a9047026.html), and Tottenham will have to settle with [Giovani Lo Celso](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/49269176).

These Spurs fans are devastated that their club could not seal Dybala’s signature.

Many Tottenham fans are simply too sad at this news – and they cannot believe that the deal has fallen through after it looked like it was going to be completed.

> He only did it to make poch feel better… now he'll say "there i went for him and it didn't work not my fault"

> Such a moronic move by Levy, he basically just put up a show for the fans only to kick us in the jewels. Both issues were known atleast 2 or 3 days ago and we pretended to be seriously interested when we didnt have the necessary funds. Clasic Levy complete joke from the club.
