# Tottenham keen to sign West Ham’s Lanzini

Mauricio Pochettino is keen for Tottenham to sign West Ham playmaker Manuel Lanzini, as per a report from the [Mirror](https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/tottenham-eyeing-west-hams-manuel-11502379).

The Spurs boss could look to sanction a move for his fellow countryman in a bid to provide more competition in the final third.

[Everton](https://readeverton.com/) were interested in signing the player during the summer transfer window but had an enquiry turned down by the Hammers.

[Liverpool](https://readliverpoolfc.com/) have also been keeping tabs on the player for some time, citing Lanzini as a possible replacement for Philippe Coutinho, who continues to be linked with a big-money move to [Barcelona](https://readlaliga.com/).

Pochettino is said to have been watching the player ever since he scored against [Tottenham](https://readtottenham.com/) two years ago at White Hart Lane.

The news will come as a blow to new Hammers manager David Moyes, who will be looking to keep hold of his best players during the January transfer window.
