# Kyle Walker insists Tottenham can win the Premier League

Kyle Walker has insisted there is no reason that Tottenham cannot win the Premier League title this season, with Spurs only 6 points behind Premier League leaders Arsenal.

Walker, speaking about a potential title challenge to the [Evening Standard](https://www.standard.co.uk/sport/football/kyle-walker-there-s-no-reason-why-tottenham-can-t-win-the-title-a3147796.html), said:

“We’ve done really well and we’ve got some good players in good areas.”

“It gives you confidence when you beat the top teams. It’s against teams like Everton where you need to grind the result out. It might not be pretty but you need to fight.”

“There is still a long way to go. Anything can happen in the season and I know that probably more than anyone after what happened four years ago.”

Walker also spoke about Mauricio Pochettino and the Spurs squad, saying:

“The manager’s philosophy is unbelievable. We have a lot of kids but they don’t play like kids. I played with Gareth Bale and Luka Modric, as well as Aaron Lennon and Emmanuel Adebayor in their prime. But does this team have the most potential? Without a shadow of a doubt. This is a young, exciting side and it is a pleasure to be part of it.
