# Pochettino rests key players ahead of Chelsea game

Danny Rose, Kyle Walker and Mousa Dembele have all been left at home as Tottenham head to Azerbaijan for the Europa League game against Qarabag on Thursday.

With the Chelsea game on Sunday in mind, Pochettino has taken the opportunity to rest three players who have played frequently in recent weeks.

Kieran Trippier is set to deputize at right-back as he has done in a small number of games this season, whilst Welsh international Ben Davies will deputize for first choice left-back Danny Rose.

However, with Mousa Dembele being rested, it could leave to a change in formation with potentially Clinton N’Jie starting alongside Harry Kane up front. However, the game could also be used as a way of reintegrating Andros Townsend into the side.

Townsend, who has not played since being disciplined following a row with a fitness coach after the Aston Villa game, is a part of the squad which has traveled to Azerbaijan.
