# Gallery: Tottenham Hotspur vs Aston Villa

A late goal from Harry Kane ensured that Tottenham left White Hart Lane on Monday night with three points after a spirited Aston Villa fightback.

Tottenham, who were 2-0 up at half time, with goals from the midfield duo of Moussa Dembele and Dele Alli took their foot off the gas in the second half. With under 20 minutes to go, Jordan Ayew picked up the ball on the left after a mix-up between Ryan Mason and Eric Dier and fired past Hugo Lloris to give Villa a chance at getting back into the game.

However, it was not to be as Harry Kane placed a shot into the top corner in injury time to make it 10 unbeaten in the league for Spurs and a victory which takes Pochettino’s team up to fifth in the league.
