# Chadli ruled out for four weeks

Tottenham’s Belgian winger Nacer Chadli is set to be ruled out for at least four weeks due to the minor ankle ligament damage he suffered during the draw against Liverpool at the weekend.

[According to Sky Sports,](https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11675/10035602/tottenhams-nacer-chadli-out-for-at-least-four-weeks-with-ankle-injury) the injury will rule him out well into November, with Tottenham hopeful he will be available to return in time for the home game against West Ham on the 22nd November. The injury will also mean that he is ruled out of the North London derby against Arsenal on the 8th November.

Chadli, has featured regulary since Mauricio Pochettino’s arrival at White Hart Lane, including this season, where he has made 11 appearances already mainly as part of three attacking midfielders behind Harry Kane.

Chadli’s injury means that another name is added to Spurs injury list, with the winger joining Son Heung-Min, Alex Pritchard, Ryan Mason, Tom Carroll and Nabil Bentaleb.

The likes of Clinton N’Jie, who came on for Chadli as a substitute during the game against Liverpool and Andros Townsend are contenders to replace Chadli in the Spurs starting line-up.
