# Baggies baulk at Berahino price

Saido Berahino is expected to depart West Brom for Tottenham within 48 hours and fans of the West Midlands club are NOT happy.

The 21-year-old is reported to have turned down the opportunity to stay at the club in favour of a move to North London, and supporters have took to Twitter to vent their anger at the alleged £15m price.

In a summer that has seen fellow Premier League attackers Raheem Sterling and Christian Benteke move for a combined price of £81m, fans believe that the touted figure is way short of the player’s valuation, and they have not been shy about expressing their views.

One twitter user – ‘WBAJosh’ – said he would be livid if the striker was to leave for such little, whilst ‘LoweWBA’ posted, “Surely even Albion aren’t that stupid to sell Berahino for £15m”.

Another angry supporter – ‘dannywright\_92’ – commented, “£15m for Berahino is a joke”, whilst others simply dismissed the reports of an impending transfer.

Tweeter Gavin Poulton claimed that, “There is absolutley no chance he (Jeremy Pearce) would let Berahino leave for £15m”, a view supported by fellow user ‘HobbsWba’, who said, “There is no way Saido will be sold for £15m”.

Either way, the transfer saga continues, and whether Daniel Levy has REALLY struck such a cheap deal for one of the country’s brightest young talent remains to be seen.
