Tottenham vs West Ham: Match Preview & Prediction
After the international break Tottenham take on West Ham for the last time at White Hart Lane in a demanding November of fixtures including three derbies.
Tottenham haven’t won a single game between the previous two international breaks and will look to get their season back on track this Saturday evening.
That being said, there were a number of positives to take from the 1-1 verses Arsenal, with star man Harry Kane returning from injury and getting on the scoresheet.
Today manager Mauricio Pochettino revealed that there are still a number of injured players including Toby Alderweireld, Ben Davies and Eric Lamela with Dele Alli as doubtful. While West Ham are expecting Andy Carroll and Diafra Sakho to be available, but Moussa Sissoko returns from suspension.
Both teams are looking to get a result from this game with Tottenham chasing a Champions League spot and West Ham hovering above relegation spots. The history of this fixture has provided some competitive fixtures in the past and the fans will be right up for the game meaning the atmosphere should be electric for all those attending.
Tottenham will like to have this game wrapped up early so they can turn their attention to a crucial game away at Monaco in the Champions League on Tuesday.
Tottenham will need to be wary of West Ham starlet Dimitri Payet and Michali Antonio who is currently the Premier Leagues top English goalscorer with five goals.
I expect this to be a tough and physical game which both teams will want to win but predicting a Tottenham win with 2-1 and Harry Kane scoring first.
